More and more international students join English-taught MGIMO BA program

In the 2014-2015 academic year, more than 20 new students were chosen by the MGIMO Admission Commission out of several dozens of applications to join MGIMO B.A. in Government and International Affairs program. They come from almost all over the world and represent such countries as Bulgaria, France, Germany, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Russia, Seychelles, Slovakia, South Korea, Sweden, United Kingdom, and US.

In late August, the 2014 Integration Week was held for new MGIMO international students, which allowed them to quickly adapt to the campus and Moscow life.

On September 22, 2014 MGIMO School of Government and International Affairs staff held a meeting with both 1st and 2nd year students. During an informal tea-party meet-up Director of the School Associate Professor Yan Vaslavskiy and his colleagues discussed various issues concerning students’ life and studies that started on September 1st, campus activities, upcoming events, etc. In the future such meetings will become a tradition of the School and will be held regularly.
