MGIMO - Linnaeus University, Sweden 

The Russian-Swedish Dual Master’s Degree program comes into force in September 2013, awarding students two Master Degrees within two years of study: Master of Art in Management, from MGIMO and Master of Science in Business Administration from Linnaeus University. The key goal of the program is to increase the number of qualified graduates in the area of Management and Business Administration.
During the first year students study at Linnaeus University in Sweden, and during the second — at MGIMO in Moscow.

Linnaeus University strives to be one of the leaders nationally, known for its strong international profile. It offers a rigorous educational experience due to its close relations with both national and transnational corporations and practically-oriented approach to an academic process. The cornerstone of the joint program is an unprecedented combination of empirical research on campus and internship in private sector.

 

The program provides students with an unprecedented opportunity to choose one of three specializations during the first year of study at Linnaeus University:

The first year of the program at Linnaeus University is going to be fulfiled with financial support from the Kamprad Family Foundation for Entrepreneurship, Research and Charity, that has recently decided to support scholarships for business students from Russia studying at Linnaeus University. Scholarship will cover tuition fees, application fees, accommodation costs and cost for course literature for the first year of study in Sweden.

After completing the one-year Master program at Linnaeus University the students are expected to continue study at MGIMO in their second year within the program in Management «Management of Foreign Economic Activity and Modern Marketing Technologies».

MGIMO recognises credit achieved at Linnaeus University as contributing towards the award of the designated Masters degree.

 

ADMISSION INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Required documents

  • specialist and bachelor degree diplomas in Economics/ Management/ Commerce/ Business Administration
  • proficiency in the English language (at least 79–80 for TOEFL or 6,5 for IELTS);
  • completed University application form,
  • copy of official transcript from college and graduate school attended,
  • two recommendation letters,
  • motivation letter.
