MIEX International Executives, Master in International Management 

The aim of the MIEX joint degree Master program is to train future international business leaders. The curriculum covers basic aspects of business administration, management at the international level, research and consultancy methodology matched with a set of truly hands-on experiences. The 1st year core teaching modules are held in France and in Italy, in the second year students are supposed to choose market area specialization in China, Mexico, Russia or Europe (Uppsala, Sweden) attending lectures at Partner Institutions for an entire term. The practical work activities of the program are expressly designed according 1st and 2nd Year teaching activities and include respectively a Field Work Research set up in Teams and an in-company Project Work on internationalization carried out on an individual basis. MIEX yields to the development of the participants' ability to be proactive regarding management decisions at an international level, and to carry out assigned practical projects with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. MIEX structure and course design aim to meet the operational needs of companies in the internationalization of markets by creating a managerial framework that includes excellent language skills and an appropriate training in the fields of business and management.



The University of Bologna, founded in 1088, is the oldest university in the western world. For its rich history and consistency in creating academic benchmarks it is one of the best universities in Italy. It offers a wide and thorough range of academic departments as well as specialized centers of excellence found on its multi-campus facilities; such campuses are found in: Forlì, Cesena, Ravenna, Rimini, and Buenos Aires. Stemming from its long academic history, the University of Bologna is dedicated to learning, teaching, and serving society through its focus on high-quality research and education. It values innovation, collaboration, fairness, and entrepreneurialism and fosters an academic environment that favours an interdisciplinary community of learning. The Faculty of Economics, created in 1929 and now represented on three different campuses (in Bologna, Forlì, and Rimini) is one of Italy’s most prominent and important business schools. It hosts a rich student body of 14,000 students and is made up of 90 professors and 35 researchers and lecturers. MIEX classes take place both in Forlì and Bologna and the program will celebrate in the Academic Year 2011-12 its 10th anniversary.



The ICN Business School, formerly the “Institut Commercial de Nancy”, was created in 1905 by the University of Nancy and the Meurthe-and-Moselle Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2002, it officially became Groupe ICN École of Management (ICN Business School) and is now also a member of the ECRICOME Group. Recognized as one of the leading French Graduate Business Schools, the ICN is also a member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and the Association of Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). In both 2001 and 2003, the French Government issued Ministerial Decrees recognizing the ICN as a Private School for Higher Education affiliated with the University of Nancy 2.


East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) was founded in 1952 and is now ranked 34t out of 2,000 universities in China. Its reputation was built on its School of Engineering, especially on its Chemical Engineering Department. The University today also has Schools of Bio-technology, Material Sciences, Computer Science, Mechanics, Environmental Studies, Pharmacy, Fine Art, and Business. The Business School is one of the largest in China and hosts a student body of 3,200 students.


The University of La Salle was created in 1962. Today it has 13 campuses in all of the larger cities in Mexico and is one of the leading universities in Mexico. MIEX courses take place in the centre of Mexico City on the postgraduate campus. This campus confers 15 MAESTRIA degrees (2 years part-time study). The campus hosts a large student body of 10,000 students.


Uppsala University is a leading research university where education grows out of research. The University focuses on offering quality education and research in order to fulfill its role as an active agent in global society.
