MGIMO - University of Geneva, Switzerland 

Concept:

2-year Master’s Program

1 year — the Master in International Affairs program «Governance and Global Affairs» offered by MGIMO,

2 year — the «International Organizations Master of Business Administration» (IOMBA) offered by UNIGE (10 months + 3 months internship).

The MBA project (thesis) does not require a defense, however the defense of the Thesis of MGIMO students can take place in either of the two institutions via a videoconference.

Application Procedure and Deadlines:

  1. Students must first be admitted to MGIMO-Master’s Program «Governance and Global Affairs» (please, follow http://ip.mgimo.ru/masters/globalaffairs).
  2. They apply to the IOMBA Program, during their first term (semester) at MGIMO but no later than November of the same year if they wish to apply for a scholarship (for more details, please, follow the link http://iomba.ch/financial-aid-scholarships).
  3. The staff and the Director of the MGIMO Masters Programs Office, of which the «Governance and Global Affairs» program is part, will review applications first and forward those they are nominating to staff at IOMBA, who will then notify successful students of their acceptance to the joint degree program.
 

Admission information and Requirements:

  • undergraduate diploma from a recognized university,
  • fluency in English,
  • proof of completion of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) with a satisfactory result,
  • 3 years of work experience (is preferred, but not compulsory for MGIMO students).

Tuition Fees:

1. Tuition for one year at MGIMO «Governance and Global Affairs» — 6500 Euros.

2. Tuition for the full IOMBA program at UNIGE — 40’500 CHF
