Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia is the oldest diplomatic school in Eastern Europe and Russia’s best known and most prestigious humanities institution. CURRENT JOB OPENINGS

We are seeking outstanding candidates with a proven record of or potential for publication in high caliber international journals and presses in the area of International Affairs / Political Science / Public Administration. Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to quality research and scholarship and documented excellence in teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels.

The School of Government at the MGIMO-University invites applications for a full-time position in the following fields:

  • Senior Lecturer of International Relations
  • Associate Professor of Political Science
  • Professor of Public Administration

 

Applicants applying for the position as associate professor must document scientific qualifications corresponding to what can be obtained by three year's employment as assistant professor. The applicant must document scientific production at an international level and relevant teaching qualifications. Please note that up to five publications may be enclosed when applying for the position as associate professor.

 

The application should include curriculum vitae, information about relevant teaching experience and a publication list specifying publications that are considered to be particularly relevant for the job. The assessment committee may assess any publication from the publication list. The applicant may therefore be asked to forward additional publications.

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in August 2012.
